Designed and made in Japan, the MySpot series of high quality spot welding machines has revolutionized the spot welding of sheet metal enclosures, items related to furniture, light fittings, and many other general purpose applications.
Using the horizontal gun allows easy access into enclosures with the operator having a clear view on where to weld, as the workpiece is located on the lower electrode. Perfect welding is a feature, as is virtually zero distortion and very little dressing.
Machines equipped with the vertical gun allow access from the top, deep into the assembly for perfect welds that the operator can clearly see. Because the assembly is built on the lower electrode distortion is eliminated and dressing greatly reduced.
MySpot also includes the best spot welding control available, Easy Timer is a touch screen HMI where the operator selects the material type, the thickness and starts welding with the pre-set conditions, or you can make and save your own, quickly and easily.
Machine also features a pneumatic tip dresser and the control can be used to monitor the dressing interval and notify the operator.
Options include Koyo Giken's world renowned "High Speed Welding" (HSW) function where mark less spot welding is possible, even on zinc coated materials.
Stainless also can be processed without heat marks.
Due to HSW, welds are stronger and show less external heat and distortion, virtually eliminating the need to dress the welds.
Coupled with projections, HSW can allow perfect welds in zinc coated mild steel without any witness marks on the surface, so no dressing after welding.
Aluminium spot welding is also available as an option.
