Introducing the Italian designed portable work follower for press brakes.
Easily installed to your existing CNC press brakes, the BF-01 provides an excellent addition to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
Large and/or heavy workpieces are difficult for even the strongest and skilled workers to manage.
Thin sheet metal is very awkward to bend, requiring support to prevent the "back braking" situation for both the workpiece and the operator.
Holding and lowering this type of workpiece after bending is high risk for injuries.
Why risk the health and safety of your most important employees.
Muscle strains are known to be difficult to recover from, especially around the shoulder and back areas.
This is the most likely area to be affected.
By introducing the BF-01 you can dramatically reduce the risks of injury, and immediately improve productivity, improve quality, and release skilled workers to perform more valued work.
Now one worker can do the work of 2, no longer needing strength and skills to hold large sheets during the bending process.
The follower automatically follows the workpiece as the press brake forms it into the die, and after the folding, when the press brake has returned to the opening position, the follower lowers the bent sheet back to the level of the die.
The operator can now turn the workpiece to another edge using the BF as a support, and repeat the process as required.
If the BF-01 is no longer required for next workpiece, it can remain as a table support or simply be wheeled away or transferred to another machine.
The BF will save costs, improve productivity, improve quality, and improve safety.
